The Farmhouse is a traditional old three storey stone building with huge chestnut beams and terracotta and stone slab floors and large stone fireplaces. It has been carefully restored in order to retain the character of what is in fact a fine old building typical of this area, while at the same time providing a high standard of comfort. The Farmhouse is cool and airy in summer but snug and cosy when the weather is cooler.

The living accommodation is on the first and second floors while old stables take up the ground floor. It has a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with its own wood burning stove and fireplace, which can also be used for eating. The sitting room is very spacious and comfortable and contains a large circular dining table, which will seat up to ten people. It also has a large wood burning stove and radiators.

The four bedrooms vary in size but are all well proportioned and sleep up to eight people. Three are configured as singles/doubles, one has a double bed. There are two bathrooms one on each floor with showers and lavatories, (one with a bath).

Facilities include central heating, wood burning stoves, telephone, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, cooker and washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Fold up beds, cots and high chairs for young children are available if required.

Rental Rates for Farmhouse

The Farmhouse (8 people), Anna's House (4 people) and the Barn (4 people) can each be rented separately or together. Rents are reduced if more than house is rented. The Farmhouse and Anna's House are linked together by a lockable internal door and can therefore be rented together as a large single house accommodating twelve people.

Costs of end of let cleaning bed linen & towels, welcome pack, water, gas and electricity for cooking, hot water and lighting and use of pool are inclusive. Costs of phone calls, central heating and firewood not inclusive. We also request a returnable security deposit.
